Believe it or not, these items have a lot in common. On September 21, Ray Morgan held the grand opening of their new Las Vegas location, complete with food, drink, gift baskets, demos, virtual assistants and Raiders football players. Big shout out to Chris Scarff of Ray Morgan corporate and Todd Gniewek from the Las Vegas branch for giving The Imaging Channel such a warm welcome
Technology partners Canon, Ricoh and Samsung were on hand to give visitors live demos of their latest equipment, and software and services sponsors like ABBYY Software and PHSI Water had displays and experts at the event. We attended a particularly informative session led by Ray Morgan CIO Erick Miller on maximizing the value of your MFP as an onramp to workflows. He shared some great hacks with the audience, which contained a fascinating mixture of end users spanning SMB to enterprise, and the session was loaded with great Q&A.
Here’s where the Raiders come in – Vegas is getting a professional football team, the Oakland Raiders, and Ray Morgan is their technology provider. Ray Morgan will be setting up their corporate headquarters and it’s going to be a great story that The Imaging Channel will follow, so stay tuned for more, and meanwhile enjoy some photos of the open house.
