Torrance, CA, May 7, 2019– Seiko Instruments USA Inc. (SII) Thermal Printer Division, a globally recognized leader in thermal printer technology, announced today that they have signed an agreement with BlueStar, the leading distributor of Point-of-Sale (POS) products and services.
The agreement will provide BlueStar’s partner network with the opportunity to now offer Seiko Instruments’ diverse thermal printer and Smart Label Printer (SLP) lines. This includes the company’s newly launched RP-F10 POS Printer with its first-to-market attachable digital color display, the versatile 3-inch, MP-B30 Mobile Printer introduced earlier this year (as well as the MP-B20 and A-40 models), and the Smart Label Printer 600 Series (SLP 600) desktop label printers.
BlueStar and its partners will be able to take advantage of the new relationship in the marketplace by offering Seiko Instruments’ two newest printer models. These innovations bring an added value and are suited for diverse applications from retail, hospitality and gaming, to public safety, healthcare, and warehousing/logistics environments.
The new distribution agreement will not only mark a partnership between two companies that base their core values on teamwork and high-level work ethics; it will also be a natural fit for BlueStar’s partner base as it will further the customer-centric culture and global initiatives within each company’s core values.
